FESTIVAL THEME

It is 300 years since the birth of William Bass, whose family brewed beer in Hinckley and also ran or owned pubs in the town.

This year, our festival theme is commemorating the Three Brewers in conjunction with the Hinckley & District Museum.

OPENING CEREMONY

This years special guests at the opening ceremony will be Tim Page, CEO of CAMRA and Steve Wellington, Master Brewer.

The formalities will start at 5 pm on Thursday 14th September, with the opening ceremony being performed by Steve Wellington, followed by the 2018 Good Beer Guide awards being presented by Tim Page, to the 7 entries from the branch.

BEER FESTIVAL VOLUNTEERS

We are seeking volunteers to staff the 10th Hinckley Beer Festival. We anticipate this year will be busier than usual due to the Three Brewers theme and publicity this has received.

If you are local, and could spare an hour to help clean and tidy the marquee on Friday and/or Saturday morning this would be appreciated, times are flexible. We would also appreciate a few more volunteers for Saturday night, as we are always stretched, and rely on volunteers from other branches.

Remember, all volunteers are entitled to an allocation of free beer/cider for all shifts, and food voucher(s) for qualifying shifts.

If you would like to volunteer for this festival and can help in any way we will be pleased to hear from you. Please complete the form below and email to: ku.gro.armachtrowsobdnayelkcnih@maharg
