Event Description

Oct 17 - 20 (Wed to Sat). Nottingham “Robin Hood” Beer and Cider Festival. All new City Centre venue The Motorpoint Arena (ice stadium) with two large outdoor areas. Located close to Old Market Square and tram stop (short walk from railway station and Broadmarsh bus station).

A world beating ONE THOUSAND plus different cask beers, plus over 250 different real ciders and perries in the unique ‘Cider Barn’, mainly sourced from the smaller producers. Around 800 cask beers go on sale on Wednesday with a further 200 plus different beers added later as space permits. Key Keg bar and Gin bar. The Cider Barn features all local and regional producers, plus ciders & perries from further afield and is home to the CAMRA East Midlands Regional Cider Competition.

Opens Weds eve 5-11 then all day Thurs, Fri & Sat 11-11. Tickets are available now online at http://www.beerfestival.nottinghamcamra.org/ or over the counter at the Arena and Nottingham Tourism Centre. Advance tickets for Friday and Saturday often sell out BUT the Festival is NOT all ticket and whilst advance tickets are strongly recommended to guarantee admission at peak times cash admissions are available for every day. CAMRA members may also attend the Wednesday trade session 1 – 4.30 pm free of charge and remain for eve session, just show membership card on entry.

Live music is a feature of both outdoor areas (separate from the main arena, which is music-free!). Wide selection of hot and cold food always available. Beer tickers very welcome and 1/3rd pint measures will again be available. Contact http://www.beerfestival.nottinghamcamra.org/
