Purchase of Spirit Group by Greene King
On 23 June 2015 (last year) Spirit Group was purchased by Greene King. The Spirit brands were: Flaming Grill, Fayre & Square, John Barras, Wacky Warehouse, Chef and Brewer and Goodnight Inns.
In our area this affected the Hinckley Knight and the Wentworth Arms. At the Wentworth this is now reflected in their beer range - Abbot, IPA, Purple Reign and Pedigree.
